TechTAK is Moving Timeslots!!!
Hi folks! Just fair warning to everyone that the show will be moving to a new time. Starting on January 6, 2007 the show will air from 4-5pm Alaska time. (That's 5-6pm Pacific, 8-9pm Eastern, 1-2am GMT) Don't forget to change your PDA/Cell phone datebooks/etc to the proper time starting then. In the words of Tak, just before he passed out: "We're getting the prime-time slot?!? ... OWW! I hit my head!"

Restore a Lost Desktop
Awhile back, we received a call at the shop asking for help. The caller's program had crashed and their desktop had disappeared, leaving them with only the taskbar. After testing countless software apps and having them crash on me, I knew this one. Recovery is but a couple clicks away...
Hibernate Desktop Icon
For those of you who use hibernate mode as much as I do, this is a great little tip. It allows you to create a shortcut icon on your desktop or your quicklaunch to hibernate your system without having to go through the normal odd procedure.
